"Most online sports nutrition advice ignores one thing: a growing body is different."

Most sports nutrition coaches are not physicians — they cannot safely judge how a training load or a diet affects growth, hormonal development, or injury risk. For a young, developing body, that is not a minor detail.

As a pediatrician and trained sports nutritionist, I look at both together — you should not have to choose between safety and performance.

The process

Three steps to a plan you can actually trust.

01 — Assessment

A thorough history and measurement

Body composition, training load, eating habits, prior injuries and complaints — with medical rigor, not a generic questionnaire.

02 — Plan

A personalized nutrition and training plan

Not a template — a recommendation calibrated to the specific sport, training load, and age, and medically sound.

03 — Follow-up

Ongoing contact and a written summary

After every consultation you get a professional, downloadable document with the findings and recommendations — not just something you half-remember.

About me

I am Dr. Annamária Nagy Rozsnyai, a board-certified pediatrician. For years I have followed children’s development in my practice, and I kept running into the same problem: young athletes get nutrition advice from sources that ignore what makes a growing body different.

In 2026 I completed a Master’s in Sports Nutrition at Universidad Europea de Madrid (1,500 hours / 60 ECTS), connecting my pediatric training with the science of athletic performance. narofit is where these two fields meet.

Why I know this so closely

Our own daughter, Lotti Nagy-Rozsnyai, is a competitive athlete too.

At 10 years old, Lotti already has five years of international competition behind her. She currently holds the cadet-category Romanian championship title and is one of the most successful, repeat-winning competitors on the European Critérium Series — training starts at 5:30 in the morning, before school, and competitions mean regular travel abroad.

I do not know this from theory — I see every day what it takes to manage the nutrition, recovery, and health of a growing child under heavy physical load. narofit grew directly out of that experience.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

Does this replace in-person medical care?

No. The consultation is informational and advisory, and does not replace emergency care or regular pediatric check-ups.

Can this be used from abroad?

Yes — we offer sports nutrition consulting to international clients via video call. This is educational consulting, not medical treatment.

What age range is this for?

Mainly child and adolescent athletes (roughly ages 6–18), though we can advise adult athletes on a case-by-case basis.

When will I see results?

That depends on the sport, age, and starting point — in the first consultation we discuss realistic, personalized expectations rather than promises.
